About the toolbox
A meetup for people who make the web.
The Web Creators Toolbox is an online community for designers, developers and curious makers who learn best by sharing the real work in front of them.
A wider toolbox
It started with one builder. The conversation grew beyond it.
Many members first met through Elementor UK Meetup. The new name reflects what the community had already become: people comparing tools, solving client problems, testing ideas and helping one another make better work.
We still value practical demonstrations. We simply care more about what helps than which logo is on the tool.
What happens in a meetup
Useful, unfinished and open to the room.
Show and tell
Members open a work in progress, explain a decision or ask for useful feedback.
Talks and demonstrations
Several speakers can share focused techniques, experiments and lessons from recent work.
Questions and help
The room makes space for the stubborn problem that needs another pair of eyes.
Who it is for
Different roles. Shared craft.
You do not need a polished case study or a particular job title. You only need an interest in making things for the web and learning in company.
- Designers shaping interfaces and systems
- Developers building and untangling them
- Freelancers and studio owners improving their practice
- Content, accessibility and performance specialists
- People learning a new tool through real projects
The community contract
Bring what you know. Be honest about what you do not. Leave someone else with a more useful next step.
Come to the next one.
