This page explains how The Web Creators Toolbox uses cookies. The short version: if you are not signed in, we do not set any.
Why there is no cookie banner
UK law requires your consent before a website stores anything on your device that is not strictly necessary for a service you asked for. That covers analytics, advertising and tracking cookies.
We do not use any of those. We run no analytics, no advertising, no behavioural tracking, no social media pixels and no third-party fonts or embedded scripts that would follow you around. Because there is nothing here that requires consent, there is nothing for you to agree to, so we do not interrupt you with a banner. We think that is better than asking you to dismiss a pop-up about cookies we are not setting.
If you are just browsing
Reading the public website — the home page, events, resources, showcase, creator listings, the blog and our calendar feed — sets no cookies whatsoever.
If you sign in
Signing in sets a small number of strictly necessary cookies. These are what keep you logged in as you move between pages, and they are exempt from the consent requirement because the service does not work without them.

Signing out removes the login cookies.
Images and media
Images and other uploaded files are served from usercontent.one, a media domain operated by our hosting provider, one.com. It delivers our own files and does not set cookies or track you.
Embedded content
We currently embed no third-party content. If we later add something like an embedded video, that provider may set its own cookies, and we will update this page and ask for your consent before it loads.
Controlling cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the cookies listed above will prevent you from staying signed in, but the public website will still work normally.
